87th Annual Exhibition of the Southport Palette Club

The 87th Annual Art Exhibition of the Southport Palette Club was held at Greenbank High School, Hastings Road, Southport, from the 30th July to the 15th August 2012.

Although the 85th and 86th exhibitions held at Bootle Town Hall had been a success the return to Southport was greeted with much enthusiasm by the majority of Artists, Patrons and Visitors. The large free parking areas, easy access for the disabled and close proximity of the school to Hillside Station all helped boost attendances, as did Saturday morning opening. As a result, over 800 visitors came to the exhibition.

A full report of the exhibition is provided in our 2012 event page.
